Great renovations often start with small details (like kitchen hardware)

Sometimes, big projects start with little details.

Take a kitchen renovation, for instance. Start with a tired, worn-out, 80s-style, brown, closed-off kitchen with dated everything.

One glance tells you the entire kitchen needs to be changed.

But where do you start? How do you tackle such a big project?

In this case, one tiny detail provided all the guidance we needed.

BEFORE

Starting with Hardware

Our client didn’t have a clear vision of what she wanted.

All she had was one piece of cabinet hardware she fell in love with.

It’s a good thing she visited our showroom for design inspiration as our designer was able to re-imagine her entire kitchen around that one piece of hardware!

Her existing kitchen was so terribly dated and closed off, the client was having a hard time envisioning what the finished product would look like.

She knew she wanted open. She knew she wanted modern.

But other than that, she just knew she loved the hardware she found.

It’s one of the reasons we maintain two showrooms… sometimes the only way to know what you want is to get inspired by touching and feeling some of your choices. Customers love it.

AFTER

New Style AND FUNCTION

Our client loves her new design. An open floor plan. Bright white colors accented by silver.

And of course, her dazzling hardware!

But what she and her husband really appreciate is the improved functionality and storage of her kitchen, solving age-old problems for storage and access.

Notice the organization in their pull-out drawers, cabinets that extend all the way up to the ceiling, and the smart configuration for knives and cooking utensils.

It’s not only a designer’s dream. It’s a chef’s dream as well.

It’s the kind of thing that happens when your ideas meet our expertise!

Another Happy Ending

Our client was a bit apprehensive at first, but by the end, she became what you’d call a “raving fan”.

Here’s her testimonial:

“Remodeling a kitchen is a big commitment and starting the process can be very scary. But when I met Holly Borel, I knew we were a perfect match!

She listened as I explained my vision, asked questions, gave suggestions, and together, we created a thing of beauty!”

If you’re ready to find out what your new kitchen might look like, don’t wait until you have it all figured out. It might just take one tiny detail to point you on your way.
